Here is Why Your Xiaomi Device Still Hasn’t Received MIUI 11 Update

The first phase of the Android 10-based MIUI 11 Global Stable ROM rollout program is about to end in a few days. However, many Xiaomi device owners are wondering why they haven’t yet received the OTA package despite being included in the program.

There is certainly a reason and the POCO F1 MIUI Global Stable Beta Tester group on Telegram has cleared the air in that regard. They said that the rollout schedule which seemed to be meant for the public users is actually meant for the Beta testers of MIUI 11. Following is an updated MIUI 11 rollout schedule for your reference.

A few days after revealing the update schedule at the Redmi Note 8 Pro launch, Xiaomi has announced the MIUI 11 Global Stable Beta Testing program in the Mi Community for Indian users. The beta testing program had included all the devices that are expected to get an Android 10-based MIUI 11 update in the first phase along with Redmi K20 Pro that is supposed to get the MIUI 11 update in the second phase occurring between November 4 and 12.

Till date, Xiaomi has released the stable version of MIUI 11 to Redmi 7A (surprisingly the first to receive but it was originally included in the third phase of the updates), Mi 9T aka Redmi K20 in India, Redmi Note 7 Pro, and Mi CC9 in China that is rebranded as Mi 9 Lite in Europe. These updates have been actually received by the devices owned by MIUI 11 beta testers.

These mean that the rest of the devices that are included in the first phase such as POCO F1, Redmi Y3, Redmi 7, Redmi Note 7, and Redmi Note 7s will receive the stable version of MIUI 11 in a few days. But the recipients will only be the beta testers of the MIUI 11 rollout program.

As far as the public rollout for the said devices is concerned, it is expected to begin in 2 or 3 weeks.
